Privacy Policy

When you upload or record audio, it is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection, transcribed in memory, and returned to you as text. Your audio files are never written to disk or stored on our servers — nothing is kept after the request finishes.

The resulting transcript is held only in your browser (in this tab's session storage) so you can read, edit, translate and download it. It is not sent to or stored by us, and it disappears when you close the tab.

Transcription, translation and the AI chat are performed by third-party AI providers through our processing gateway. To produce your result, the relevant audio or transcript text is sent to these providers for that single request and is not retained by us afterwards. We never sell your content or use it to train our own models.

We use a single anonymous security cookie, set after an invisible anti-abuse check (Cloudflare Turnstile). It contains only a signed expiry — no name, email, or identifying information — and simply confirms your browser is genuine so automated bots can't drain the free service.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless — which is why you see no cookie-consent banner.

We use cookieless website analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) to see which pages are visited and how the tool is used, so we can improve it. These services set no cookies, do not track you across websites, and never receive the content of your audio or transcripts. We deliberately do not use Google Analytics.

When you send a message through the contact form, we store the name, email address, subject and message you provide so a real person can read it and reply, along with the language of the page you wrote from so we can reply in it. Messages are held in our own self-hosted database, used only to respond to you and never for marketing, and are deleted once the matter is resolved.

We don't require an account or sign-up. We don't sell your data, show personalized ads, or build a profile of you. And we don't keep your audio or transcripts.
